Amherst College will be holding a conference on "Caesar: Writer, Speaker and Linguist" on 13-16 September. The Thursday evening keynote addresses "Caesar the General and Statesman: A Literary Self-Portrait of a Perfect Roman, K. Raaflaub" and "The Drama of the Narrative in Caesar’s Commentarii, C. Kraus" do not require registration.
